About the team
Major new opportunity to modernise and enable Payments as a Service for a large Australian Bank. Multiple existing systems at the Bank will be migrated to a Connex platform and integrated with the Bank's systems and other FIS application to produce an agile payment processing environment.

What you will be doing

  • Provides application software development services on the project

  • Develops program logic for new applications or analyses and modifies logic in existing applications

  • Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications

  • Maintains, tests and integrates application components

  • Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code

  • Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented

  • Demonstrates an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry

  • Other related duties assigned as needed


What you bring

  • At least 5 years of experience in Application Programming/ Support using Connex on HPNonstop and knowledge on system development life cycle products, services, practices, regulations and operations associated with the assigned line(s) of business and software engineering alternatives.

u200BKey technical skills requirement:

  • Base24 Programming experience

  • HPE NonStop development experience

  • TAL/pTAL, TACL, Guardian, SQL/MX and Enscribe database, Pathway

  • Connex on HPE NonStop Payments systems experience -

  • ATM and POS device driving

  • Scheme and interchange links

  • Card and account authorisation services

  • Key management and validation services using Thales and SafeNet HSMs

  • Experience with delivering best practices for Managed Service clients based on ITIL framework -
