We are looking for a Junior Software Quality Analyst to join our Customer Solutions QA team. The role is expected to help develop and execute software tests, both manual and automated.

Your responsibilities as a Junior Software Quality Analyst:

As a Junior Software Quality Analyst, your responsibilities include being involved in maintaining and improving the quality of software products by identifying and communicating issues. You will also support in identifying potential risks throughout the development process.

You will also be expected to:

  • Write test procedures/scripts, test cases or acceptance standards, as required, to be used to execute tests and check if the application under test meets the agreed business needs and provide feedback to the Developers, QA team or Business Product Owners.
  • Ensure test environments reflect business needs for test execution.
  • Create clear and understandable software test documentation.
  • Reproduce issues and write accurate software bug reports.

What makes you the ideal candidate in this role

As a Junior Software Quality Analyst, you work closely with Software Quality Analysts in writing test scenarios and test automation scripts that meet business acceptance criteria.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have excellent written and verbal communication skillsand has the ability to provide information that helps the development team understand and address the identified issues and potential risks effectively.

Having the skills, knowledge, or experience on the below would also be advantageous:

  • Agile Development Process (Scrum or similar)
  • Writing test scripts in commonly used software programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or Python.
  • Version Control Systems (preferably GIT)
  • Database Management Systems (Relational and Non-relational)
  • Non-functional Testing
