Job Description
  • Incumbents in this job will plan, implement and administer local area networks and/or provide technical support for users on company systems. Incumbents will also install, troubleshoot and maintain hardware and software, evaluate and make hardware and software recommendations in relation to identified needs provide group instruction on software applications. Incumbents perform duties similar to the Network Service Engineer II but perform duties with closer supervision, work on less complex projects, and do not exercise the same level of final decision making in daily activities.
Skills Required
  • Able to practice first call resolution
  • Able to test software/hardware using appropriate methodology and techniques
  • Able to use equipment management system software
  • Able to assist end-users with common problems encountered with use of PCs, operating system software, and Windows software
  • Able to use computer and operating system diagnostics programs to diagnose common hardware or operating system problems
Minimum Qualifications
  • Analytical
  • Team player
  • Can work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Can work in revolving shifts (morning/night).
  • Able to deal with difficult callers
  • Candidate must be willing to work in Cyber Sigma and Cybergate
