Job Title: Intake Specialist - Durable Medical Equipment
Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Work From Home)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST- New York Time
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Insurance verification and eligibility with Prior Authorization background who thrives in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting Salary: $3.13 - $4 hourly rate (via PayPal)
- Paid Time Off

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a related field (required)
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience preferred
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with online tools
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be available to work U.S. business hours
- Available to start immediately
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance eligibility
- Process prior authorizations
- Communicate with Patients and follow up with Insurances
- Request and manage medical documentation
- Update status and follow up on requests
- Make inbound/outbound calls as needed
- Maintain accurate records in the system
