Job Description

Job Title: Intake Specialist - Durable Medical Equipment

Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Work From Home)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST- New York Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Insurance verification and eligibility with Prior Authorization background who thrives in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting Salary: $3.13 - $4 hourly rate (via PayPal)
  • Paid Time Off
  • Potential salary increase after performance reviews on the 3rd and 6th month
  • Annual salary increase based on performance
  • Year-End Bonuses and Rewards based on performance

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Durable Medical Equipment (DME) experience preferred
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with online tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be available to work U.S. business hours
  • Available to start immediately

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient insurance eligibility
  • Process prior authorizations
  • Communicate with Patients and follow up with Insurances
  • Request and manage medical documentation
  • Update status and follow up on requests
  • Make inbound/outbound calls as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in the system
