The Import Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, from the import and export of goods to ensuring proper documentation is completed for international shipments. This includes liaising with internal teams, customers, freight forwarders, customs, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transportation, compliance with regulations, and efficient delivery.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, and transport agencies.
- Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of shipments, maintaining a high level of service for both internal and external customers.
- Ensure that all import/export documents (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates of origin, etc.) are accurate, compliant with customs regulations, and submitted on time.
- Monitor compliance with international trade laws and regulations, ensuring all documentation meets customs, export control, and import/export regulations.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and government agencies to resolve any customs-related issues or queries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all international shipments and documentation for internal tracking and auditing purposes.
- Address and resolve any logistical issues, such as delays, customs holds, damaged goods, or shipping discrepancies.
- Monitor and mitigate any risks related to import/export operations, such as political instability, transportation disruptions, or regulatory changes.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the superior related to the job objective
- Expertise in preparing and reviewing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance.

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, international shipping, or customs management, with at least 2 years in an officer or managerial role.
- Expertise in preparing and reviewing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willing to work in Carmona, Cavite (Onsite) from Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
