We are seeking an experienced IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV Developer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RPG IV programming and a passion for developing robust and efficient applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using RPG IV on IBM System i (AS/400) platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues in existing applications.
• Optimize and improve application performance and efficiency.
• Ensure code quality and adhere to best practices in software development.
• Participate in project planning and provide estimates for development tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in RPG IV programming on IBM System i (AS/400).
• Strong understanding of IBM i operating system and related technologies.
• Experience with database management using DB2 for i.
• Familiarity with modern development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
