Health Officer

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is dedicated to creating policies and initiatives that empower the poor, vulnerable, and disadvantaged sectors of society. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Health Officer located in Vigan. The Health Officer will oversee and implement health programs aimed at promoting community well-being, workplace safety, and occupational health. Key responsibilities include assessing health needs, planning and executing health initiatives, ensuring compliance with workplace and construction safety regulations, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive meaningful health improvements.

• Strong expertise in Occupational Health and Community Health practices
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Construction Safety standards and regulations
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
• Ability to design, implement, and evaluate health-focused programs
• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Environmental Health, or a related field
• Experience working in community health or occupational safety is a plus
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to promoting social welfare and community development
