Your Role:The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role is critical in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness using QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial data and transactions within QuickBooks Online.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate closing of the books on a monthly basis.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Account Analysis:
- Perform detailed account analysis and provide insights and recommendations based on findings.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to gather and provide financial information.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to support overall department goals and objectives.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or related role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
