Description

As a Finance Project Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the Finance Chief of Staff to manage and coordinate various new and ongoing projects within the Finance function. This includes overseeing the implementation of Power BI, coordinating meetings and workshops, organizing kaizen events, driving continuous improvement initiatives for VOS, preparing presentations, and supporting finance scorecard reporting.

The work will be carried out within a highly motivated team that will offer support in daily tasks. The work is done in an environment which emphasizes customer satisfaction, entrepreneurship, ownership and achieving results.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the monthly reconciliation of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) Power BI data against HFM data.
  • Update and review Finance monthly scorecards in both Excel and Power BI monthly.
  • Assist the Finance Chief of Staff with data collection for adding new sets of metrics to Power BI, including Operational Indicators for AR and KPIs/LPIs/OPIs for DPO and DIO.
  • Support the Finance Chief of Staff with data collection for current metric calculations and explore standardized methods for future calculations.
  • Monitor the progress of the Manila team in the implementation and enhancement of Power BI for DSO, DPO, DIO, and Finance scorecards.
  • Develop low-code, no-code automations, and leverage AI to streamline raw data collection and consolidation for monthly Power BI reporting.
  • Participate in Finance Kaizen events, supporting the Finance Chief of Staff and Kaizen catalysts by consolidating participation details, event goals, managing logistics (e.g., meeting room bookings, lunch coordination, team outings), preparing agendas and pre-reads, and producing post-event reports for review by Kaizen catalysts and the Finance Chief of Staff.
  • Contribute to the existing and future Finance VOS governance initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of waste reduction initiatives.
  • Assist the Finance Chief of Staff with coordination logistics for Finance Growth Days, including accommodation arrangements, meeting room bookings, and team outings.
  • Update the intranet Finance webpage as directed by the Finance Chief of Staff.
  • Handle any additional ad-hoc Finance requests that may arise throughout the year.

Skills and Qualifications

  • University Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistical Modeling equivalent
  • 2+ years postgraduate experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence Analysis of financial data or Finance with developing of financial reporting solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of and ability to use several programming languages including but not limited to Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including a deep understanding of complex functions, formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting tools. Efficiently manage large datasets, perform in-depth analysis, and create detailed, dynamic reports
  • Experience with back-end analysis and reporting tools as well as other financial planning & reporting systems.
  • Familiar with using a range of data sources including Oracle EBS, Excel, Smartsheet, SharePoint, etc.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to understand and transpose financial data to various data analysis tools with help from financial analysts.
  • Should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to travel as required. Candidate must also be adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, where ambiguity and change are inherent. The ability to quickly adjust to new challenges and shifting priorities is essential for success in this role.
  • Previous experience in an international and culturally diverse organization is a plus.
  • Previous experience with we design is a plus.
  • High level of ownership and accountability.
  • Language skills: English Minimum C1 required.
