Lead the engineering design development team for The Line, from concept to IFC, including design reviews and approval. Lead the engineering support for NEOM Projects through the construction phase. Manages multiple Projects at all stages from planning through implementation which includes budgeting, Scope development, consultant selection, assets briefs and all engineering design stages development.

Leads The Line engineering team and engineering disciplines to Provide Design management, development, reviews, and approvals support for construction projects.
Recruitment and HR management of the engineering team.
Reviews complex structures to provide construction engineering recommendations, construction methodology and constructability proposals.
Prepares and presents engineering reports for projects dept.
Reviews design consultants and contractors engineering proposals.
Knowledge of KSA and international code
Manages multiple Projects at all stages from planning through implementation which includes budgeting, Scope development, consultant selection, assets briefs and all engineering design stages development.
Provide project scheduling support and monitors construction projects and keeps other departments and/or divisions informed.
Provide Technical and Engineering studies and services to support the construction sector.
Directs and participates in studies, projects, and analyses related to technical and administrative aspects of various types of projects.
Recommends selection of consultants and monitors their services; coordinates planning, design and permitting with various departments and other external agencies.
Develops and reviews specifications; evaluates bids, holds pre-bid and pre-construction meetings; manage site surveys with bidders and prepares agenda items for award of contracts.
Prepares technical answers to the technical questions raised by the bidders during the Q&A periods.
Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as directors, managers, supervisors, contractors, consultants, attorneys, outside agencies, and community groups concerning services and issues directly related to or indirectly affecting Capital Improvement Projects
Verifies contractors and consultants pay applications/requests for consistency and accuracy with work completed and contracted; recommends for approval or changes.
Identifies problems or factors inhibiting progress, collects and analyzes data and makes specific recommendations for resolution.
Reviews drawings, and change orders as to price, need and completion, and recommends approval or rejection
Background, Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Chartered Engineer or Architect
25 years of progressively responsible experience in Design and Engineering and management with reputable Companies including consultants/contractors and developers
Membership in international societies for project management and design consultants
Hands-on knowledge of design software, EDMS, project management software and office is required
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
