We're Hiring: Drafter – Modular Home Building / Contractor

Rate: $8/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Drafter with a strong background in modular home building and light gauge steel (LGS) framing. This role is ideal for a highly skilled drafting professional who can lead drafting operations, communicate effectively with engineers and customers, and support construction-focused projects from concept through production.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in Revit, understands modular and structural drafting workflows, and is confident managing or leading a team of drafters in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage detailed construction and production drawings using Revit
• Work closely with engineers, project teams, and customers throughout project development
• Interpret and apply International Building Code (IBC) standards
• Develop and review drafting packages related to modular and LGS framing systems
• Lead and coordinate drafting workflows with other drafters and team members
• Review drawings for accuracy, constructability, and code compliance
• Assist with project coordination and drafting quality control
• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of Revit experience
• Experience using StrucSoft Metal
• Strong construction background required
• Understanding of Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing systems
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers and customers
• Leadership experience managing or guiding drafting teams
• nStrong understanding of International Building Code (IBC) standards
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
