Job Description
The role involves the development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Assurance plan in accordance with Baby Bunting's QA strategy, encompassing various projects. The primary responsibilities include the creation of a Master Test Plan at the inception of each new project and the subsequent development of Detailed Test Plans for bi-weekly sprint releases. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's project deliverables, contributing to the overall success of their initiatives.

What do you need to succeed
- 7+ years of experience in quality assurance planning and execution across all phases of testing.
- 7+ years of experience in project and/or program delivery, including waterfall and agile delivery approaches.
- Highly desirable to have 5+ years of experience in Retail/Ecommerce.
- Experience with full project lifecycle testing of Retail systems (point of sale, back office), CRM, ERP, integration layer, ecommerce, and marketing platforms, as well as loyalty platforms.
- Demonstrated passion for this area, including a desire to share knowledge to improve organizational capability.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to triage issues and obstacles arising from testing.
- Extensive experience in planning, coordinating, and executing tests across integrated systems.
- Preparation and maintenance of relevant testing documentation, including Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Summary/Exit Reports.
- Ability to assess risks to schedule, cost, or quality in project testing activities.
- Proven experience in coordinating and executing quality assurance testing, including manual test execution and support for test automation.
- Extensive experience in system development policies and processes, including:
- System development methodologies
- Change management
- Issue and risk management
- Release management
- Proven experience in all aspects of software application product testing, including:
- Definition and execution of test strategy
- Development and delivery of test planning
- Support for the creation of test automation frameworks
- Defect management
What awaits you in this role
- Establish and execute a Quality Assurance plan aligned with the Baby Bunting QA strategy across projects.
- Create a Master Test Plan when a new project initiates and generate Detail Test Plans for every 2-week sprint release.
- Ensure software quality across specific Agile projects, including managing the end-to-end testing process and creating testing artifacts.
- Support the development of quality assurance and testing competence within project and digital teams through process development, knowledge sharing, and coaching.
- Contribute to the development of reusable testing and quality assurance toolkits to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in test execution and outcomes.
- Develop and execute testing for end-to-end project delivery, encompassing system, system integration, user acceptance, and production verification testing. This role is expected to perform hands-on manual testing to complement automated and third-party testing.
- Organize UAT for production releases and coordinate with the Business to execute UAT on the planned UAT day.
- Oversee QA analysts in developing continuous automated testing and transitioning repetitive manual testing into automated functional/user experience tests.
- Triage test issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams, ensuring frequent and accurate defect reporting.
- Support other projects within the company from the Digital QA perspective and perform testing for them when required.
