DevOps Engineer

The Role:

Your responsibilities will be as varied as they are crucial. You'll spearhead automation initiatives, wrangle cloud services, and tweak server configurations. From small business web hosting to complicated server colocation, you'll ensure our services run smoother than a well-oiled machine. Work closely with our talented developers and IT experts to facilitate the entire software development process, from code to cloud. Your goal To make sure our client's digital dreams are not just visions but realities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Solid experience with DevOps and AWS
• Solid experience in systems administration, application deployment, database replication, high availability, and automated workflows. The more versatile you are, the better!
• Working on the design, architecture, and maintenance of systems and storage in our various data centres.
• Hands-on expertise with tools like GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• At least 7 years under your belt in roles like Systems Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure, or something similar.
• Knowledgeable with virtualization tech, especially when it comes to Kubernetes, QEMU, KVM, and OpenStack.
• When it comes to networking and security, you know your stuff. We're talking a solid grasp of routing, switching, firewalls, and all those other security essentials.
• Can code in at least two programming languages (Python, Perl, or PowerShell)
• Exceptional problem-solving skills that turn challenges into opportunities.
• Strong communication skills for smooth collaboration across departments.
• A commitment to enhancing customer experience, making it as flawless as possible.
• Must have own equipment
