Development Team Lead

We are looking for a lead, full stack developer with great tech and team leadership skills that extend our cleanly architected Angular material-driven single page application with supporting services, through a microservices architecture that exposes .NET core RESTful APIs consumable by both our single page application and customers alike.

The Lead Developer will instruct the development team, drive architecture, enforce coding standards, and run workshops to train the team including a small website development team. A key part of the role will be engagement with other development teams to deliver joint projects and complementary architecture.

The Lead Developer will build strong relationships with senior team members across the wider Online Systems team and the technical Business Analyst to ensure the frontend portal meets business requirements.

What you'll do:

Manage and extend the secure, stable, online portal base
Design, write and test code that integrates with client systems
Manage and extend the RESTful API with clear-cut documentation
Leverage open-source tools, libraries and frameworks to create a low-cost solution
Build out completely testable subsystems that can be swapped out in-place.
Work closely with the Technical Business Analyst to implement provided designs
Work in a small team made up of skilled specialists in an agile fashion, rapidly releasing and demonstrating capability to the broader business sprint planning, daily scrums and retrospectives
Lead a small team, building strong skills and capability based on industry best-practice
Bug-fixing and system improvements
