Data Platform Lead

Office Location: UnionBank Plaza - Ortigas, Pasig City

Position description:

1. Platform Builds and Development: Execute architecture roadmaps and plans provided by data solution architect and translate them into physical implementation of platforms in the data ecosystem.

2. Platform Operations: Build and transfer operation data consumption and support platforms to IT team once the initial build is completed complete with documentation and operating manuals.

3. User Experience Optimization: Continuously improve the user experience of the platform by gathering feedback from stakeholders and applying best practices in all of the data platforms. Ensure that the platforms are intuitive, responsive, and accessible.

4. Performance and Scalability: Optimize the performance and scalability of the platforms to handle large volumes of data and diverse user requirements. Identify and resolve bottlenecks to maintain a smooth user experience.

5. Security and Data Privacy: Implement security measures on the platform to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

6. Documentation: Document the design, development, and maintenance processes for the platform.

7. Stay Current with Technology: Keep up• to• date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in modern data platform technologies. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the platform's capabilities.

8. Subject Matter Expert: Act as subject matter expert for IT team in terms of changes to the platform and enabling capabilities to unlock the platform's full potential.

9. Proof of Concepts: Tinker, test and recommend new technologies (data ecosystem) that fits the organization roadmap.

10. Leadership: Lead, manage and align goals and activities of other platform engineers and build a cohesive program timeline for the data ecosystem.

Educational qualifications preferred
