Job Description
The Level 1 Data Operations Analyst is an entry-level role designed for individuals looking to begin their career in data engineering. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management and infrastructure, working alongside experienced team members to support the organization's data initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Support:
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Support data collection and storage efforts under the supervision of senior engineers.
Learning And Development
- Engage in training and mentorship programs to develop technical and analytical skills.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on data projects.
Basic Data Management
- Help ensure data accuracy and consistency through routine checks and validation.
- Assist in documenting data processes and maintaining records.
Collaboration And Communication
- Work with data team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Communicate progress and seek guidance as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field. Relevant coursework or projects are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages, preferably Python or SQL.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of data engineering.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or data warehousing basics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Any internship experience or academic projects related to data or technology.
- Familiarity with basic data concepts and tools is advantageous but not required.
