Job Description

As aCustomer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in assisting patients who require medical supplies, necessitating insurance carrier pre-authorization. You'll be the bridge between patients and various insurance companies, employing email and outbound calls to request approval for essential DME (durable medical equipment). In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the timely submission of authorization approvals and keeping various departments informed of the progress.

Work Setup: Temporary Work From Home, Makati

What do you need to succeed
  • Minimum of 3 years of call center experience.
  • Medical and sales background is a plus.
  • Familiarity with insurance, medical equipment, Medicare, and Medicaid is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work night shifts and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and oral English skills.
  • Ability to handle issues courteously and professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including probing and active listening.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to undergo cross-training.

  • Assist patients in need of medical supplies, requiring insurance carrier pre-authorization.
  • Take charge and communicate with various insurance companies on behalf of patients under your care, using email and outbound calls to request approval for the required DME (durable medical equipment).
  • Ensure timely submission of authorization approvals, including but not limited to:
  • Update various departments on the progress of submitted insurance approvals, whether they are approved, denied, or in progress.
