Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, coding, and improving software components tailored to meet unique business requirements. The role includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable and efficient, while applying modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software products that support organizational goals. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate communication and coordination among team members to ensure alignment with project objectives. - Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and software quality. - Monitor project progress and proactively address any challenges to maintain delivery timelines. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering. - Strong knowledge of system architecture, automation, and monitoring tools to maintain high availability and performance. - Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code to support scalable and resilient systems. - Proficiency in incident management and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve reliability. - Familiarity with scripting and programming languages to automate operational tasks and enhance system efficiency. - Ability to implement best practices in security, compliance, and disaster recovery within software environments. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering. - This position is based at our Manila office.
