Credit and Collection Senior Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Autonomous Role taking responsibility for all facets of credit control in a hands on capacity for the day to day running of the nominated ledger
• Credit Policy - be familiar with all processes and procedures
• Monitor and control stop credit status of customer accounts
• Utilize GetPaid as a collection tool for updating notes, dispute management, and sending of SOA.
• Attend internal and external customer meetings to discuss current issues as required
• Liaise with Sales and Service Staff to resolve issues
• Responsible for housekeeping of accounts (reconcile, offset and write off)
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for Credit Manager/Top Management as per set deadlines
• Forecast Collections for Monthly Targets * Daily Customer Service calls regarding payment of invoices in line with Collections process and procedures
• Daily Collections of overdue accounts and negotiate Payment schedules where necessary

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in finance or administration
• Has strong commercial collections of major complex accounts with ANZ market unit
• Ability to drive past due exposure low to minimize potential bad debt
• Initiate and drive billing dispute resolutions
• Negotiate payment terms with the customers
• Ability to collaborate with all customers and maintain good relationship
• Risk management of delinquent and non-trading accounts
• Excel reporting, know how to work with Pivot Tables
• Oracle system collections module
• Adapt to changing work levels and environments
• Flexibility to take on new tasks or additional tasks as or when required
• Excellent communication skills with high level of telephone and email etiquette
