The Cost Accounting Staff is responsible in collecting and analyzing cost information. His primary role is to ensure that cost data are timely and accurate to support management decision making.
Primary Responsibilities
Cost Data: Collect operational cost and prepare production cost schedules.
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain records and documents of production cost
Reconciliation: To ensure that inventories are properly accounted at month end and year end reporting.
Budgeting: Prepare and present budget reports.
Variance Analysis: Prepare variance report for actual production cost and budgeted cost. Identify the variance and analyze the root cause.
Inventory Management: To perform monthly actual count of inventories
