Job Summary:

• Point person in connection with the company's cost accounting matters.
• Responsible for overseeing the Cost Accounting activities, financial reports generation and analysis, and other related concerns.
• Ensures that the activities are in compliance with the prevailing standards and company policies.

Functional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the analysis of the Actual Project Cost vs. Standard Cost (Land Cost, Construction Cost, Capitalized Cost and other costs) that will result in conclusion and recommendation as to the relevance of project cost or the need for adjustment of the cost setup.
• Responsible for leading the project close-out of 100% completed projects in coordination with Internal and External Quantity Surveyors and Project Cost Analysts of Budget to ensure that all variation orders are addressed before closing of the project.
• Assess existing controls, identify and mitigate risks associated in cost accounting, and recommended improvement/update of controls as deemed necessary.
• Assist/support the internal and external stakeholders by providing them with the needed financial information needed by their decision-making.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, either manually via mass uploading through an excel template.
• Perform cost, volume, profit analysis to study different scenarios, project future costings and provide recommendations.
• Assist in completing the requirements needed to fulfill requests from External Auditors (SGV and Co.) and Government Agencies (BIR).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant
• With at least 3 years of accounting/auditing experience in a real estate company
• Knowledgeable in General Accounting, Revenue and Cost, Real Estate Accounting and Taxation.
• Knowledge in SAP or any Accounting System.
• Amenable to work onsite in Makati/Pasay
• Can start ASAP
