JOB DESCRIPTION

Leads in developing, enhancing, and managing Preparedness for Response Capacity of the Department through DRRM related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation to increase the level of performance and effectiveness of the implementation of the programs, projects, and activities of the Disaster Response Management Bureau.



Functions and Responsibilities:


1. Provides Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA) to other divisions and Field Offices relative to institutional, program, and/or social technology/innovation development:

  1. Act as a Resource Person on Institutional, program, and/or social technology/innovation development-related activities and

  2. Provide TARA to other divisions developing DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation

2. Prepares to institutional, program, and/or social technology/innovation development-related documents:

  1. Conduct research activities to develop DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation

  2. Draft DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation and

  1. Develop policies and plans corresponding to the program and/or social technology/innovation developed for implementation.

3. Proposes, reviews, and analyzes DRRM and RRP related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation for enhancements and amendments:

  1. Conduct research activities to develop DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation and

  2. Amend DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation.

4. Monitors and evaluates the developments of DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation:

  1. Facilitate the approval of DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans and/or social technology/innovation and

  2. Evaluate recommended revisions and suggestions of the stakeholders for incorporation to the DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans and/or social technology/innovation.

5. Prepares Monthly, Quarterly, and annual accomplishment reports for the Bureau Director, Undersecretary, and other stakeholders

6. Prepare status updates of DRRM and RRP-related policies, plans, programs, and/or social technology/innovation and

7. Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
