Job Description

To maintain and operate Cloud ( Openshift, Redhat, Container) infrastructure including upgrades and security patches. To maintain and manage infrastructure part (operating system and its related hardware) of Openshift Performs troubleshooting, incident and error handling for systems. Assist in the identification, development and maintenance of policies and procedures that are relevant to the proper oper.ational functions of the Cloud infrastructure ( Openshift). Provide assistance in cloud related projects during all stages, including: assessment, planning, designing, initiation. Maintain operational readiness ensuring complete recovery in the event of a disaster. Attend DR tests regularly, as outlined in the company policies and procedures to ensure DR functionality. Update policies and procedures as required. Evaluation of new versions, patches, firmwares and security patches. Implementing upgrades and security patches regularly. Periodic monitoring of cloud platforms, performance tuning and capacity planning and trend analysis. Perform administration of whole OpenShift solution including upgrading and patching of all environments using automation tools. Work with development teams and other related teams to perform health checks, performance tests, and capacity planning activities. Evaluate enterprise tools to be used with the OpenShift environment. Creates and maintains automation scripts. Upgrades/patches of the OpenShift environment including underlying OS

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and maintain cloud automation and orchestration scripts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud resources and improve system performance.
• Implement and maintain cloud security measures to ensure data protection.

NATURE OF PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED

• Problems encountered are issues with production infra and service request implementations.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3yrs working experience in the related field is required for this position
• 3+ years experience working in system administration / cloud administration, preferably Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform and other cloud providers
• Solid understanding of test methodologies, test design and test best practices to manage service performance KPIs and root cause analysis
• Strong analytical, problem solving and systems thinking abilities
• High familiarity with different infra technology:AWS, GCP, VMware, Redhat Openstack assess and troubleshoot infrastructure issues discuss technical recommendations and solutions with end-users and stakeholders
• Significant test automation skills around designing, building and maintaining test frameworks
• Good experience in defining test scenarios from requirements and acceptance criteria
• Good in time management, communication and collaboration
• Good in problem solving and handling pressure.
• Familiarity and knowledge with agile delivery methodologies
