Cloud Architect

Position Summary / Purpose and Objectives of the Rule

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Create Architecture and Design documentation of both existing and new Cloud infrastructure.

2. Discuss and provide solution to new projects/improvements requested by the Business Users/Application Owners and/or seen by the Infrastructure team.

3. Maintain under operational conditions the existing and new Cloud - AZURE/AWS environments in respect of the Support processes

4. Build, deploy and administer/manage the current and new Azure environments and features in respect of the Standards defined by the Group

5. Strong level of operational support on:

- Troubleshooting, incidents and problem management,

- Reporting and communication on activity, quality and performance of the Azure platforms

- Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for support.

6. Assist implementations of Azure components

7. Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency and life cycle over the Azure solutions

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Operating Systems support (Windows and / or Linux)

2. Contribute to search and qualification to new solutions

3. Provide recommendations to highest level of expertise teams

PRIMARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:

1. Ideal with Azure Administrator certification or Azure Sol. Architect certification

2. Administration and troubleshooting of Azure environments

3. Creating environments in Azure from CODE (infra as a code)

4. Experience in migration of servers from legacy Data centers to Cloud Azure

5. Working knowledge on DevOps automation tools (Terraform, CI/CD, Visual Studio, etc.)

6. Experience with building infrastructures in Azure with securing of the environments: Viral securities, Reliability

7. Strong experience in servers operating systems (Windows or Linux)

SECONDARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge in scripting (Terraform, CLI, Python ideally)

2. Knowledge on Infrastructure Solutions (Servers, Storage )

3. Knowledge in ITIL framework

4. Experience with other Cloud environment such as AWS, Google, or others

5. Knowledge of DevOps technologies is appreciated

BEHAVIOR ABILITIES:

1. 3-7 years experience in infrastructure, with 1-3 years as Azure administrator

2. Self motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession

3. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.

4. Customer service oriented

5. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

6. English speaking mandatory

7. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints

8. Willing to do some traveling
