Job Description

As a Business Development Representative, you will be tasked with researching and identifying potential leads utilizing a diverse array of channels such as social media, online platforms, industry events, and referrals. Your role will involve leveraging various tools and platforms to gather contact information and valuable insights about potential clients.

What do you need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a sales-related role, preferably in the SAAS industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Self-motivated and proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Lead Generation:

  • Research and identify potential leads through various channels, including social media, online platforms, industry events, and referrals.
  • Use tools and platforms to gather contact information and insights about potential clients.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and personalized messages to initiate conversations with leads.

Qualification and Nurturing:

  • Engage with leads to understand their business needs, challenges, and pain points.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria to determine their fit for the company's SAAS solution.
  • Educate leads about the company's products and services, addressing their inquiries and providing relevant information.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leads, nurturing them through various stages of the sales funnel.
  • Customize and personalize communication to resonate with each lead's specific needs and interests.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the SAAS solution and its benefits to potential clients.


  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to transfer qualified leads and ensure a smooth transition from the BDR stage to the sales stage.
  • Provide valuable insights and feedback to the marketing team to refine targeting strategies and messaging.

Sales Support:

  • Assist the sales team in scheduling meetings, demos, and presentations with qualified leads.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions, conversations, and progress in the CRM system.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay updated about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate the company's competitive advantages.
