Job Description

Role Overview:

  • Provide and interpret financial information for Sales and Revenue or Costs
  • Support the Business Decision Support (BDS) organisation in analysing and monitoring trends
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for key systems and models within the CoE Sales & Revenue or CoE Costs
  • Interpret actuals, forecast, and budget data and provide commentaries and insights
  • Provide recommendations and insights to management based on financial data analysis
  • Work closely with the Financial Director and BDS Business Controllers to drive financial success and growth

Responsibilities:

  • Handle management reporting for actuals and budgets/forecasts, including variance analysis and commentaries
  • Develop and optimize financial reporting tools within CoE and BDS
  • Act as CoE liaison for Finance projects, delivering process improvements within Finance and Non-Finance teams
  • Ensure senior management's priority information requirements are delivered and operationalized on time
  • Own planning, budgeting, and forecasting process systems, improving cross-functional collaboration
  • Design, develop, and maintain business case models, providing financial inputs for strategic/operational initiatives
  • Ensure quality and compatibility of data across multiple systems, including responsibility for user acceptance testing
  • Maintain a broad view of Revenue Accounting and manage interactions with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience working independently to deliver initiatives and objectives
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial and management accounting, processes, and systems
  • Self-starting, adaptable learner with a can-do mentality
  • Competency in financial accounting, advanced technical expertise, and understanding of internal controls
  • Comfortable navigating complex, highly-matrixed environments
  • Advanced management reporting and analysis capability, with experience owning business unit processes
  • Experience planning, budgeting, forecasting, and creating comprehensive reporting decks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related area
  • Minimum 3 years experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis (revenue, cost, expense), including budgeting and commentaries
  • Strong analytical skills, self-starter, quick learner in complex environments
  • Excellent knowledge of financial and management accounting, processes, and systems
  • Affinity with large, complex international working environments; occasional travel may be required
  • Commercial and organizational awareness, ideally in a comparable industry
  • Good communication skills
