WHAT IS THIS ROLE ABOUT - PURPOSE

Key person in the operation and maintenance of utility equipment. Ensure equipment is maintained with the highest uptime. Ensure processes are aligned to ISO standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO - RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operation and Management- Manage and execute a preventive maintenance plan (with internal team and OEM/vendor) for water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, dedusting units, air handling units, fan coil units, direct expansion units, vacuum pumps, cooling/chilled water pumps, LPG tanks, and vaporizer system, boilers.

  • Roles:

    • Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations

    • Manage stock and inventory for consumables

    • Perform required FM Global activities for Loss Prevention

    • Ensure 5S3R is implemented in his assigned area

    • Ensure deployment and updating of maintenance checklist and forms in accordance with IMS requirement

    • Implement/coordinate ERF and ensure proper closure

  • Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare and coordinate documentation (documents and records) in compliance with IMS requirements

    • Respond to emergencies

    • Review and understand equipment and methods of operation of MEPF systems

    • Prepare bi-weekly reports related to comprehensive PM results, ERF completion, and budget spending

  • Contract and Compliance:

    • Monitor and supervise preventive maintenance contracts

    • Prepare proper method of operation compliant with applicable engineering standards

    • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements

    • Maintain compliance related to FM Global and government agencies such as PEZA, DOLE, and DENR

  • CAPEX/OPEX

    • Assist on preparing budget and forecast.

    • Assist on tendering or bidding review related to the technical and financial aspects, if necessary

  • Coordination and Communication:

    • Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required

    • Communicates and coordinates with other cross-functional departments, incidents and concerns that will greatly affect business continuity

    • Attend training sessions and seminars

    • Communicate with the vendor resources required to accomplish the task

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR - REQUIREMENTS

  • With engineering degree or equivalent (Electrical/Mechanical or other discipline)
  • At least 5 years of minimum experience in facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • With strong technical background in the operation of maintenance of various utility equipment.
  • Has the capability to supervise technicians and contractors to achieve objectives. Can handle projects with minimum supervision.
