Bookkeeper

We are seeking a mid-level Bookkeeper with 3–5 years of experience to support the day-to-day finance operations of a wholesale and packaging business. This role will manage both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records. The business is currently using MYOB and will be transitioning to Xero, while also implementing Cin7 to support inventory and operational processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, supplier payments, and reconciliations 
• Manage Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, payment allocation, and customer account follow-ups 
• Perform bank and account reconciliations 
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end processes 
• Work closely with internal teams to resolve account queries 
• Support the transition from MYOB to Xero and the ongoing use of Xero for day-to-day accounting 
• Assist with financial and inventory processes linked to Cin7 or similar ERP systems 
• Ensure financial data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner 

Qualifications and requirements:

Skills & Experience: 

• 3–5 years bookkeeping experience 
• Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience 
• Essential: hands-on experience using Xero 
• Experience with MYOB beneficial 
• Experience with Cin7 preferred; experience with Microsoft Navision or similar ERP systems will also be considered 
• Strong reconciliation skills and high attention to detail 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment 

Industry Experience (Preferred): 

• AU Experience in wholesale, packaging, or retail environments 
• Experience working with inventory-based businesses or stock management systems
