Job Description

As a BIM Engineer/Operator, you will be responsible for utilizing your working knowledge of VDC software and hardware systems, processes, and best practices to support our client's project teams.

Employment Type: Full-time
Shift: Night Shift (Monday to Friday, 9pm to 6am)
Work Setup: Onsite, Makati

What do you need to succeed

Technical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Tech degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Expertise with Autodesk programs, specifically Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. 2D and 3D modeling experience is a must.
  • Understanding of VDC or BIM concepts.
  • Ability to read structural, mechanical, architectural drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with National BIM Standards (NBIMS) and National CAD Standards.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam.
  • General Qualifications:
  • English writing and speaking skills are required.
  • Strong personal management skills, dedication, organization, open-mindedness, and a creative thinker.
  • Must be available to work hours that overlap with the Mountain Time Zone (7am-5pm) by 50% to ensure efficient collaboration.

What awaits you in this role

  • Supporting the execution of project VDC Project Execution Plans and project VDC implementation strategies.
  • Collaborating with the on-site VDC project team to perform BIM/VDC related duties for the project.
  • Assisting in modeling self-perform scopes of work based on construction documents, specifications, product submittals, RFI's, and shop drawings.
  • Preparing models for lift drawings, model-based layout, AR/VR, and integration with laser scans.
  • Managing and coordinating Architectural, MEPTF, structural, civil, specialty, and site components of the model.
  • Utilizing reality capture data for model creation/update, including laser scanning, sUAS and terrestrial photogrammetry, and LiDAR.
  • Identifying constructability issues, missing information, and notifying the project team of these issues and RFI's.
  • Utilizing BIM 360, BIM Track, ProjectSight, and/or other project-specific information management systems.
