About the Role - Finsure Broker Academy

The Learning & Development Support Officer (LDSO) will primarily support the Finsure Broker Academy, assisting Mentors in delivering program requirements and ensuring new-to-industry brokers are onboarded, monitored and supported throughout their Academy journey.

The role may also provide ad hoc support to the broader Learning & Development team during leave coverage and peak workload periods.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Complete Broker File Reviews
  • Manage and respond to Fresh Desk tickets relating to Academy enquiries (Academy interviews, MFAA renewal forms, terminations, general Broker Support enquiries)
  • Support Academy onboarding, ensuring the New Broker Academy Checklist is completed accurately
  • Conduct Monthly Mentor Fee Audits
  • End-to-end scheduling and communication of training and lender-led sessions delivered by Mentors and Lender BDMs.
  • Maintain and update Academy learning materials (PowerPoints, branding, dates, documentation updates)
  • Liaise closely with Mentors and internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met within required timeframes
  • Perform other Academy-related tasks as directed by the People Leader or Head of People & Development
  • Trigger and coordinate Compliance Audits relating to:
  • Academy Broker Graduation
  • Removal from File Review tasks
  • Changes to Mentor tiers

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Medium-level experience using spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage processing timeframes and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with new Broker members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a related field
  • Flexibility to support other team functions when required for business continuity
