Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Oversee and manage day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, security, and vendor management.
3. Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential risks.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand facility requirements and align them with business objectives.
5. Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, overseeing expenditures, and implementing cost-saving measures.
6. Identify and evaluate external service providers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and permits related to facility management, health, and safety.
8. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, partnering with relevant stakeholders to conduct drills and training.
9. Implement sustainability initiatives and energy conservation practices to promote environmental responsibility and efficiency within the facilities.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in facility management, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
11. Coordinate and oversee facility-related projects, including renovations, expansions, and new construction.
12. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the facility management team, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in managing facility operations, maintenance, and projects.
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and facility-related regulations.
- Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and cost management skills.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in computer-aided facility management (CAFM) software, MS Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental certifications (e.g., LEED) is a plus.
