Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
Summary: As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members, analyzing user needs, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. - Develop and maintain application documentation to ensure clarity and compliance. - Test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction. - Provide support and training to end-users to facilitate smooth application usage. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance application development processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - Strong understanding of application development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with database management and SQL for data manipulation. - Familiarity with system integration techniques and tools. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
