Application Automation Engineer

Summary: As an Application Automation Engineer, you will focus on delivering predictive and intelligent delivery approaches through automation and analytics. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to drive the automation of delivery analytics, gathering insights from data, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of applications. You will engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance operational performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities. - Monitor application performance and reliability, implementing improvements as necessary. - Develop and maintain documentation for automated processes and systems. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely manner. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation and reliability engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering. - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services. - Experience with automation tools and frameworks. - Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash. - Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure application performance. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Site Reliability Engineering. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 1 year(s) of experience is required
