REQ12773 Analyst, Marketing Analysis (Open)

Position Summary

Analyst, Marketing Analysis is responsible for supporting key decision makers and marketers with data insights that help them make better decisions or strategies in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Furnishes statistics or analysis to casino marketing team to support their marketing or operation initiatives such as pro-forma and post-analysis for events and promotions, casino sales team performance, and others
  • Prepares property-level periodic reports of key performance indicators and interprets prevailing trends for review by management on matters related to casino marketing, patron reinvestment, theowin by patrons, etc.
  • Conducts ad hoc analysis as requested by management.
  • Conceptualizes and develops direct marketing campaigns from insights derived from data.
  • Assists in data-mining and predictive analysis.
  • Performs any other projects or tasks as assigned by the Manager, Marketing Analysis

Key Performance Indicators

  • Annual revenue and EBITDA for casino Direct Marketing Campaign Performance
  • Good and friendly communication manners
  • Timely completion of delegated tasks with accuracy
  • Displays a high commitment in delivering and improving customer service, internally or externally.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence and Analytics.
  • Marketing and operation experience in gaming or hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Proven track record in highly numerate and analytical roles.

Education

  • Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science or marketing

Skills / Competencies

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to establish relationships between transactional data and product attributes with business performance
  • Ability to extract value-adding insights from data English language communication skill is mandatory.
  • Highly proficient in SAS e-Guide and SAS WRS/IDP.
  • Knowledge in SAS programming is preferred.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant applications.
  • Knowledge in R programming is an advantage.
  • Comprehension of data structure in various systems downloads, integrations and processes.

Other Attributes

  • Able to work with large and complex data.
  • Proven capability for telling a good business story using data is an advantage
