General Purpose:
This is an individual contributor role. Manages simple to moderately complex Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes from iDOC monitoring to Partner Mapping. Responsible for supporting the processes of implementing new EDI customers connections including requirements definition, data integrity, testing, training, and reporting. Monitor daily EDI operations: verify EDI transmissions, assure compliance, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis, data exception handling, and re-processing when necessary. Work with clients and trading partners to gather requirements, define rules in order to build out logic, and respond to requests and questions. Specialist must be able to deliver enhancements in subject area including interaction with client end-users, customer service / super-users, process and system functionality, requirement gathering, functional specification documentation, unit testing / functional testing / and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Act as interface between business and IT development as well as conduct support. Specialist must have the ability to perform independently, while working effectively across clients's organization, when required.
