This role is a CS Everywhere - permanent Work from Home setup with unlimited access to Cloudstaff Offices when you need it. CS Everywhere includes Fiber Internet, Backup Internet, UPS, PC/Laptop. Ability to use the office when there are Internet or power issues. Pop in and have a coffee with teammates.

An opportunity exists for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator in a dynamic wine & spirits importing operation. This position offers the right candidate a key position within the organization and will provide opportunities for career development and growth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow-up with vendors and clients to collect past-due invoices.
  • Arrange for payment of past due invoices and notate accounts.
  • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Strong emphasis on the monitoring and collections of unpaid account balances, follow through is a must.
  • Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from local deposits.
  • Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
  • Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from clients
  • Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
  • Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager and Accounting Department with other projects and assignments as needed.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • QuickBooks skills preferred Skilled in Excel
  • 1-2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills with solid oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred Associates Degree required
  • Strong problem solver driven to accomplish goals and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Prior collections experience preferred
