The Accounting Intern is responsible for assisting the accounting and finance unit in their day-to-day work responsibilities.
Key Resonsibilities
- Assists in the management Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Performs records management by ensuring submitted physical documents are complete based on prescribed documentations, properly filed, organized and accessible to users
- Checks and verifies all transactions of handled accounts
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Payment processing of accounts payables through GL system
- Checks and reviews Liquidation Reports or expose of handled accounts
- Receives and strictly monitors all Request for Payments (RFPs)
- Participate in inventory management activities, including inventory counting and reconciliation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as purchasing, sales, and operations, to gather financial data and support decision-making processes.
- Conduct financial research and analysis as assigned, providing meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Attend company or department learning events and training programs
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor and/or management.
Minimum Qualification Guidelines
Education : Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Other / Special Skills : Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts; Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
