We are looking for a skilled Accounting Generalist to perform a variety of accounting and financial tasks. Responsible for maintaining financial records and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a companys reports and statements. Work closely together with the HR team and external bookkeepers. The Accounting Generalist will report to the general manager of the department.
Major Tasks
Providing accounting and clerical assistance
Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
Provide assistance and support to HR personnel
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Implementing cost-saving measures and identifying areas for process improvement to optimize financial resources.
Overseeing administrative tasks such as managing office supplies, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining records and
documentation, and handling correspondence.
Implementing improvements to streamline slack workflows and Quickbooks, increase efficiency, and ensure accuracy in financial operations.
Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Monitoring compliance with financial policies and procedures along with Third Party providers.
Implementing and maintaining internal control procedures to safeguard company assets, ensure accuracy of financial records, and prevent fraud.
Providing guidance and training to staff members on financial policies, procedures, and company systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
Experience in payroll practices
Excellent in communication skills, both written and verbal
