Job Description

  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational objectives.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to management.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, models, and budgets.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including setting timelines, coordinating with departments, and consolidating budget data.
  • Monitor budget performance and report variances.
  • Update forecasts regularly based on actual performance and market conditions.
  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
  • General Ledger Management
  • Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations and reviews of ledger accounts.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
  • Monitor cash flow and optimize working capital management.
  • Ensure accurate billing and collection processes.
  • Compliance and Auditing
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure financial integrity.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and external tax advisors as needed.
  • Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Strategic Support
  • Provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and evaluate financial impact.
  • Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance activities.
  • System Management and Process Improvement
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on best practices and technological advancements in financial management.Train staff on the use of accounting software and tools.
