About the Role

We are looking for a senior, relationship-driven Sales and Account Management Director to own and grow Surecomp's strategic banking relationships in the Philippines. Based in Manila, you will be the primary executive relationship owner for several of the country's largest banks, all existing Surecomp customers, and Surecomp's senior commercial representative in the local market.

Account management is at the heart of this role. You will be responsible for the overall health, satisfaction and growth of these accounts: building trusted, long-term partnerships with senior business, operations and technology leaders, leading strategic reviews and governance, managing customer projects and escalations together with our delivery teams, and turning these relationships into renewals and expansion.

Alongside this, you will develop selective new business with additional Philippine banks, including SaaS opportunities for mid-sized institutions.

This is a senior individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of Commercial APAC in Singapore. You will work closely with Surecomp's solution consulting, delivery, product and marketing teams across regions to deliver value to our customers.

The role is best suited to someone who has spent their career selling enterprise software to banks, and who already holds trusted senior relationships within the Philippine banking community.

Location: Manila, Philippines.

Travel: Frequent local travel to customer sites within the Philippines.

Reporting to: Head of Commercial APAC.

Roles and Responsibilities

Own the executive relationships with Surecomp's strategic banking customers in the Philippines, acting as their primary commercial contact and trusted advisor.
Protect and grow these accounts through renewals, upsell and cross-sell, guided by clear account plans.
Lead and manage customer-facing projects and activities, drive strategic reviews and governance discussions, and own customer escalations through to resolution together with the delivery teams.
Identify and develop selective new business with additional Philippine banks, including SaaS opportunities for mid-sized institutions.
Run complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, from qualification and proposals through RFP responses, negotiation and contract closure.
Work closely with solution consulting, delivery, product, marketing and finance to tailor solutions and ensure customer success.
Represent Surecomp in the Philippine banking and fintech community, including industry events and associations.

Knowledge and Experience

8+ years of vendor-side enterprise software sales or account management to banks, including ownership of Tier 1-3 bank accounts.
Experience selling banking applications such as trade finance, core banking, transaction banking, cash management or payments.
Hands-on experience owning customer-facing projects and activities, managing escalations and leading day-to-day relationship management with bank customers.
Established senior relationships within major Philippine banks, across business, operations and technology leadership.
Proven track record of growing strategic bank accounts over several years and managing long sales cycles with multiple senior stakeholders.
Based in Metro Manila, with excellent written and spoken English and fluency in Tagalog.

Advantages

Direct trade finance or supply chain finance experience.
Existing relationships within Metrobank, BDO, BPI, RCBC, Security Bank, UnionBank or other leading Philippine financial institutions.
Experience with implementation, onboarding or large conversion projects.
Experience selling cloud, SaaS or banking transformation solutions.

Skills

Strong relationship builder and trusted advisor to senior banking executives.
Confident, clear communicator and presenter at C-level.
Strong negotiation skills and commercial judgment.
Self-driven and able to work independently in a global environment.
Structured, organized and accountable for results.
Collaborative partner to internal teams across regions.
