Turn AI Into a Competitive Marketing Advantage

AI-Forward Marketing Specialist | AI Automation · Generative Search · AEO/GEO

We're looking for an AI-Forward Marketing Specialist to help shape how our brand is discovered across traditional search, AI answer engines, and generative search platforms.

This is a hands-on role for a marketer who doesn't just use AI to create content, but understands how to build smarter systems with it. You'll experiment with AI agents, automation, content, search, and data to uncover new ways to increase visibility, scale marketing execution, and stay ahead of a rapidly evolving landscape.

We're interested in your marketing fundamentals, curiosity, technical mindset, and ability to turn AI into practical marketing workflows.

If you're excited by the intersection of marketing + AI + automation + search, this is an opportunity to build something genuinely new.

What You'll Do

AEO & GEO Strategy

Develop strategies to increase brand visibility across AI answer engines and generative search platforms.
Research how AI search engines interpret, rank, and recommend brands, products, and content.
Identify opportunities to improve our presence in AI-generated answers and recommendations.
Monitor how our brand and competitors appear across AI search experiences.
Develop and test new approaches to improve AI discoverability and authority.

AI-Powered Marketing

Build and deploy AI agents and workflows to automate marketing research and execution.
Use AI to scale content research, ideation, drafting, optimisation, and distribution.
Create automated workflows for competitor research, keyword/topic discovery, content analysis, and market intelligence.
Experiment with different AI models, tools, prompts, and workflows to improve marketing outcomes.
Identify repetitive marketing tasks that can be automated and build systems to streamline them.

Content & Search

Develop content strategies around topics that drive visibility and authority.
Optimise website content for both traditional search and AI-powered search.
Work with content, SEO, and product teams to ensure information is structured in a way that AI systems can understand and surface.
Analyse existing content and identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Support content production using AI while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand voice.

Testing & Analytics

Design experiments to measure what improves visibility across AI and search platforms.
Track brand mentions, citations, rankings, recommendations, and other relevant visibility signals.
Build dashboards and reporting workflows using AI and automation.
Turn data and experiments into actionable marketing recommendations.
Continuously test, learn, and iterate rather than relying on established playbooks.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in marketing, ideally across digital marketing, content marketing, SEO, growth, or performance marketing.
Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals and customer acquisition.
Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows and productivity.
Comfortable experimenting with AI agents, automation, APIs, prompt engineering, or no-code/low-code tools.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Experience with SEO, content strategy, keyword research, or organic growth is highly desirable.
Ability to turn ambiguous problems into practical experiments and workflows.
Strong written communication and content skills.
Highly curious about how AI is changing search and marketing.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment.

You'll Stand Out If You Have

Experience with AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) or GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation).
Experience optimising content for ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, or other AI answer engines.
Experience building AI agents or multi-step AI workflows.
Experience with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, LangChain, APIs, or similar automation platforms.
SEO experience with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, or similar.
Experience running growth experiments or marketing tests.
Basic technical understanding of APIs, structured data, web crawling, or data extraction.
A portfolio demonstrating AI-powered marketing workflows, experiments, content systems, or growth projects.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days, you will have:

Built a clear baseline of our current visibility across traditional and AI search.
Identified the biggest opportunities to improve our AEO/GEO presence.
Built several AI-powered workflows that automate marketing research or execution.
Launched and measured multiple AEO/GEO experiments.
Established a repeatable reporting system for AI search visibility.
Created a scalable process for producing and optimising content using AI.
