Location: Remote & full-time

Pay: Starting salary $500 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.

Industry: Real Estate Podcasts

We are seeking a highly skilled, remote Podcast Video Editor to join our team. This role is not for basic splicing; we are looking for a creative editor who excels at seamless, invisible pacing cuts, dynamic multi-cam switching, and high-end asset creation. You will be responsible for transforming raw interview footage into a cinematic, highly engaging viewer experience from the intro hook to the final outro. All podcast interviews are in English.

Responsibilities:

Advanced Video Editing & Seamless Pacing: Edit raw multi-cam podcast footage. You must be exceptional at removing filler words, dead air, and awkward pauses using seamless, invisible cutting techniques that maintain a natural, high-energy conversational flow.
Premium B-Roll & Visual Enhancements: Source and strategically integrate high-quality, relevant B-roll footage, subtle on-screen graphics, text pop-ups, and visual cues to keep the audience visually engaged during long-form discussions.
Intro & Outro Design: Create, refresh, and apply professional, high-retention video intros (hooks) and animated outros with clear Calls to Action (CTAs) that align perfectly with our brand identity.
Audio Engineering: Polish podcast audio to perfection—removing background noise/echo, balancing levels between host and guest, and mastering the final track for crisp clarity.
Social Media Reels (Short-Form Mastery): Extract the most viral, high-value hooks from each episode to create dynamic, vertically formatted Reels/TikToks/Shorts, complete with engaging, animated auto-captions and fast-paced editing.
Metadata & Navigation: Generate accurate timestamps for key episode segments and draft clear, SEO-friendly show notes summarizing the episode, key takeaways, and guest resources.
Graphics & Branding: Customize and adjust YouTube thumbnails, episode banners, and social media assets to match the branding themes of specific episodes.
Quality Control: Ensure all exports meet rigorous technical specifications for both video (YouTube) and audio platforms (Spotify/Apple) and are delivered ahead of schedule.

Requirements:

Advanced Technical Proficiency: Mastery of professional editing suites (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
Portfolio Evidence: A proven portfolio demonstrating clean podcast editing, invisible narrative cutting, clever B-roll integration, and high-retention short-form reels.
Graphic Savvy: Strong eye for visual pacing, modern typography, and clean graphic design (Photoshop/Canva/After Effects).
Autonomy & Deadline Driven: Absolute attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote environment, hitting strict publishing deadlines.
