We are looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to drive audience growth and user acquisition for our consumer events business.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that great marketing is a combination of compelling content, smart paid media, strong creative testing, and data-driven decision-making.

You will be responsible for building and executing digital campaigns that get people to discover our events, engage with our content, and ultimately convert into attendees, subscribers, or users.

The ideal candidate is both creative and performance-oriented - someone who can develop a content idea in the morning, launch a Meta campaign in the afternoon, and analyse the results the next day.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Social & User Acquisition

Plan, launch, manage and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) and Tik Tok.
Develop campaigns focused on user acquisition, ticket sales, event registrations, lead generation and audience growth.
Manage campaign budgets and continuously optimise towards key performance metrics such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPC and conversion rate.
Build and manage different audience segments, including prospecting, retargeting, lookalike and existing customer audiences.
Conduct creative and audience testing to identify what messaging, formats and content drive the best results.
Monitor campaign performance and translate data into actionable recommendations.
Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure paid campaigns support overall event and business objectives.

Content Strategy & Production

Develop and execute a social media and content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
Create content that builds awareness, excitement and demand around our events and consumer experiences.
Produce and coordinate short-form video, Reels, TikToks, social posts, graphics, event previews, behind-the-scenes content and promotional assets.
Identify trends, cultural moments and social formats that can be adapted to our events and audience.
Work with photographers, videographers, designers, creators and event teams to produce high-quality content.
Develop creative concepts specifically designed for paid advertising, not just organic social.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across channels.

Analytics & Optimisation

Track and report on content and paid media performance.
Use data to understand which audiences, creative concepts and messages drive acquisition.
Establish a regular testing framework for creative, audiences, messaging, placements and landing pages.
Turn campaign insights into recommendations for future events and campaigns.
Work with analytics and marketing teams to improve tracking, attribution and conversion measurement.

What We're Looking For

1-3+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, performance marketing, content marketing or a related role.
Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and paid social advertising.
Demonstrated experience using digital advertising to acquire customers/users and drive measurable conversions.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
Experience creating or managing short-form video and social-first content.
A good eye for creative and an understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.
Comfortable working with data and using performance metrics to make marketing decisions.
Strong understanding of digital marketing funnels, audience segmentation, retargeting and conversion optimisation.
Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
Ability to work quickly, manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines in a fast-paced events environment.
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset - you don't wait for someone to tell you what to test next.
