The Mission: Build the operating system for the future of AI-powered entertainment.

About Us

Our journey at Dashverse began with a simple question: What if AI could power the next generation of entertainment As a Series A technology company backed by leading Indian investors like Peak XV, Matrix, and Stellaris, we began our journey with Dashtoon, revolutionizing AI comics. Now, with Dashreels, we are creating a new universe of short-form video, curating addictive short dramas while also launching our own game-changing AI-generated originals.

We offer a personalized, binge-worthy viewing experience that's captivating Indian audiences. Our mission is to become the go-to destination for compelling, short-form narrative content around the world. Are you ready to build the future of storytelling

About the Role

DashReels and Shortfree are short-form video products competing for attention in two of the

most dynamic markets in the world: India and the United States. We're looking for an

ASO/SEO Specialist who lives and breathes organic discovery — someone who can turn

app store and search visibility into a compounding, low-CAC growth engine across both

markets. This is a hands-on, ownership-heavy role. You'll own the full organic funnel: how users find us in the App Store and Play Store, how they find us on Google, and how we keep climbing

rankings without paying for every install. The two markets behave very differently —

multilingual, mobile-first, price-sensitive search behavior in India versus a saturated,

high-intent, English-dominant market in the US — and you'll build a keyword and content

strategy that wins in both.

What you'll own

App Store Optimization (ASO)

Own ASO end-to-end across the Apple App Store and Google Play for DashReels and Shortfree.
Run continuous keyword research, ranking tracking, and metadata optimization (title, subtitle, keyword field, short/long description).
Design and run A/B tests on creatives — icon, screenshots, preview videos — and
tie results to conversion-rate and install lift.
Monitor and improve store conversion rate (impressions product page views installs) and surface what's blocking it.
Manage ratings, reviews, and review-response strategy as a ranking and conversion lever.

SEO

Own organic search strategy for web properties — technical SEO, on-page, content, and link building.
Build topic clusters and landing pages that capture high-intent and discovery traffic for short-form video use cases.
Partner with content and engineering to ship SEO improvements (site speed, schema, internal linking, crawlability, Core Web Vitals).
Drive web-to-app flows so search traffic converts into installs.

Keyword mapping across India & the US (special focus)

Build and maintain a master keyword map segmented by market, intent, language, and funnel stage for both products.
Account for India's multilingual reality — English, Hindi, and key regional-language search patterns, transliteration, and code-mixing.
Account for US-specific competition, search intent, and seasonality; identify the keyword gaps where we can realistically rank.
Map keywords to specific store metadata fields and web pages so nothing is left to guesswork.
Localize, don't just translate — adapt metadata, creatives, and copy to each market's culture and search behavior.

Organic scaling (special focus)

Treat organic as a system, not a checklist: build repeatable processes that scale rankings and installs as we grow.
Set up dashboards and reporting that track organic installs, rankings, share of voice, and CAC impact across both markets.
Identify the highest-leverage experiments and run a steady, prioritized testing cadence.
Forecast organic growth and defend it against competitor moves and algorithm changes.
Reduce blended CAC by shifting an increasing share of installs to organic over time.

What you'll need

3+ years in ASO and/or SEO with demonstrable organic growth results — ideally for consumer mobile apps.
Proven track record of moving app store rankings and organic installs, with numbers you can talk through.
Strong command of ASO tools (e.g., AppTweak, Sensor Tower, data.ai, AppFollow, Mobile Action) and SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog).
Experience running keyword strategy across multiple markets — bonus if that includes India and/or the US.
Comfortable with data: you can build dashboards, read cohort and funnel data, and design clean A/B tests.
Sharp on App Store and Play Store guidelines, ranking factors, and how the two stores differ.
Self-directed, experiment-driven, and able to prioritize ruthlessly in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

Familiarity with India's multilingual and regional-language search landscape.
Experience in short-form video, social, or entertainment apps.
Working knowledge of web-to-app attribution and deep linking (e.g., Branch, AppsFlyer, Adjust).
Basic SQL or comfort pulling your own data.
An eye for creativity — you can brief and evaluate screenshots, icons, and preview videos.

What success looks like (first 6 months)

A live, maintained keyword map covering both products across India and the US.
Measurable ranking and organic-install gains for priority keywords in both markets.
A running A/B testing cadence on store creatives with documented conversion lift.
Clear organic dashboards that the whole team trusts and uses.
A growing share of total installs coming from organic — and a visible dent in blended CAC.

Why Join Us
