As a Tax Accountant - Business Services, you'll join a newly established Pioneer team dedicated to one of Australia's leading Big Four accounting firms. You'll work across Australian private and mid-market businesses, preparing financial statements, income tax returns, BAS, and technical work across varied entity structures. Work-from-home opportunity with a hybrid setup in Pampanga

Earn up to PHP97,100 monthly based on skills, expertise, and experience

The Expertise We're Looking For

4 to 5 years of Australian taxation and accounting experience
Strong working knowledge of Australian taxation, accounting legislation, and regulatory requirements
CA qualified, Part CA qualified, or currently pursuing CA qualification
Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Experience working with Australian businesses across multiple entity structures
Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation capabilities
Analytical and proactive approach to resolving accounting and taxation matters
Ability to adapt and contribute ideas within an evolving professional services environment

Your Daily Tasks

Deliver Business Services Accounting

Prepare Australian financial statements for sole traders, companies, trusts, and partnerships for engagement manager review
Process journals accurately within client accounting software
Prepare comprehensive supporting workpapers and maintain well-organized engagement documentation
Review client financial information and identify additional documentation required to progress engagements

Manage Australian Tax Compliance

Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
Complete Business Activity Statements (BAS) and supporting workpapers for engagement manager review
Apply Australian taxation and accounting requirements across varied client and entity circumstances
Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on client matters, including payment arrangements

Contribute Beyond Compliance

Research Australian taxation and accounting matters relevant to client engagements
Prepare technical advice, file notes, and supporting documentation
Work collaboratively with engagement teams to resolve technical and information requirements
Develop broader exposure to the accounting and tax considerations affecting Australian private and mid-market businesses
