About the Role

M Moser Associates is seeking a Senior QA/QC Document Controller to support the QA/QC Manager and project team on a complex design-and-build construction project. The role combines routine site quality surveillance with systematic control of quality and project records. The successful candidate will help identify quality concerns early, maintain accurate and accessible documentation, and coordinate with the project team, PMC, the client, the general contractor, the MEPF contractor, consultants, and document control teams to ensure that required information is complete, current, and available through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

This position reports to the QA/QC Manager and works closely with the Project Manager and Construction Managers. It is a senior coordination and support role and does not replace the overall responsibility of the QA/QC Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Site Quality Support

Conduct regular site walks and surveillance inspections to identify defects, non-conformances, incomplete works, deviations, and potential quality risks; promptly report findings to the QA/QC Manager and relevant construction leads.
Verify that ongoing civil, structural, architectural, and MEPF works are generally progressing in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, and checklists.
Support the preparation and follow-up of Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), testing activities, and client or consultant inspections.
Check that materials delivered to site are supported by the required approvals, certificates, delivery records, and test reports, and flag missing or inconsistent documentation.
Maintain photographic records of inspections, completed works, material deliveries, tests, and quality concerns, with clear dates and locations.
Track site observations, NCRs, punch items, and corrective actions, and follow up with the responsible contractor until evidence of closure is received and verified.
Assist the QA/QC Manager during audits, quality reviews, inspections, and close-out activities, including monitoring comments raised by PMC, the client, and consultants.

Document Control and ACC Management

Maintain an organized master register and status tracker for quality and project documents, including material approvals, shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, checklists, IRs, MIRs, test reports, NCRs, observations, RFIs, inspection records, and close-out documents.
Review documents before filing or uploading to confirm completeness, correct revision, proper naming, document status, required signatures, and supporting attachments.
Upload and maintain approved and current records in ACC in accordance with the project filing structure, while ensuring that superseded or incomplete documents are properly identified.
Coordinate with the ACC document control team in India and the document controllers of contractors to obtain missing records, update registers, and resolve filing or access issues.
Support the preparation of weekly and monthly project reports by compiling current quality information, document status, inspection records, test results, NCR status, and supporting evidence.
Ensure that report attachments and the corresponding ACC links are correctly maintained so that the client, PMC, and project team can readily review the source records.
Maintain records in a manner that allows documents and project history to be retrieved quickly when required for reviews, claims, audits, inspections, or handover.

Project Coordination and Reporting

Follow up with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants on pending submissions, inspection outcomes, approvals, comments, and quality close-out actions.
Prepare clear Excel trackers, summaries, dashboards, and follow-up lists for use by the QA/QC Manager and project management team.
Coordinate with site personnel to collect timely and accurate information without disrupting construction activities.
Highlight overdue, incomplete, or inconsistent records and escalate matters that may affect quality, approvals, progress reporting, or handover.
Support the implementation of project quality procedures and promote a practical, right-first-time approach across the project team.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities assigned by the QA/QC Manager or Project Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Relevant experience in construction QA/QC, site engineering, document control, or project coordination; experience in a senior QA/QC documentation role is preferred.
Practical knowledge of construction inspections, material approvals, testing records, IRs, MIRs, ITPs, method statements, NCRs, observations, and close-out processes.
Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, quality procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud or a similar common data environment is preferred.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, email coordination, document registers, and status tracking.
Strong attention to detail, filing discipline, organization, and ability to retrieve information quickly and accurately.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate professionally with contractors, consultants, clients, and internal teams.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment while supporting the QA/QC Manager and wider project team.
