About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting and Tax Associate to join our growing team at Rockwell Nepo!

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting tax compliance across assigned projects. You'll play a key part in month-end closings, intercompany accounting, and regulatory reporting.

Growth Opportunity: As our team expands, this role is expected to develop into managing the finance requirements for exciting new business initiatives and project launches.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Closing: Assist in month-end closing activities, financial statement reviews, and regular regulatory reporting.
Accounting Records: Maintain precise and up-to-date accounting records and manage intercompany accounting.
Tax Compliance: Support tax preparation and ensure full compliance with internal company policies and external accounting/tax regulations.
Project Support: Help lay the financial groundwork for upcoming developments and new venture launches.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in BS Accountancy (Certified Public Accountant (CPA) status is a strong advantage, but not required).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in Financial Reporting, General Accounting, or Tax.
Industry Experience: Background in real estate or property development is a major plus!

Financial Reporting & General Ledger Accounting
Month-end Closing & Account Reconciliation
Intercompany Accounting
Basic Philippine Tax Compliance (VAT, EWT, CWT, DST)
Financial Statement Preparation
Intermediate to Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP / Accounting Systems
