Overview:

Reporting to the Manager (Clinical Services) of the Emergency Medicine Department, who works in partnership with and reports to the Head of Operations (Emergency Department) and Clinical Head of Department, you will provide operational, administrative, financial, and project management support to ensure the effective delivery of departmental services, strategic initiatives, and quality improvement programmes. You will work closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to drive service development, operational excellence, digital transformation, and performance management within the department.

Job Responsibilities:

Support the planning, development, implementation, and review of departmental workplans, service initiatives, workflows, SOPs, and operational strategies.
Monitor, analyse, and report departmental performance indicators and KPIs, and support initiatives to improve service quality, efficiency, and operational outcomes.
Lead or coordinate projects relating to service development, quality improvement, workflow redesign, digitalisation, automation, and system enhancement initiatives.
Provide secretariat support for departmental committees, workgroups, and project meetings, including agenda preparation, minute taking, action tracking, and follow-up.
Support the development, implementation, and optimisation of digital and IT systems to meet operational requirements and business needs.
Assist in departmental financial planning, budgeting, business case development, and monitoring of CAPEX, OPEX, manpower, and training requirements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support operational initiatives, service improvements, and strategic projects.
Undertake additional projects and duties as assigned to support departmental goals and organisational priorities.

Requirements:

Strong Digital and IT Proficiency
Project management capabilities and experience in driving a cohesive team and cross teaming environment
Possess confidence to resonate with senior management leadership - internal and external stakeholders
Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines
Good analytical and organization skills
Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skill
