About the Role

We're hiring a Video Editor who understands direct-response advertising and can use AI to bring a wide range of creative concepts to life.

You should know how to turn a script into an ad that captures attention, keeps viewers engaged, builds interest in the product, and gives them a reason to buy. That means choosing the right visuals, making the opening compelling, controlling the pace, and knowing what to cut.

You'll produce high-volume, performance-driven Meta ads across a wide range of styles, such as AI animation, AI UGC, VSL-style, AI storytelling and song ads. You'll work closely with our creative strategists and leadership to turn concepts into ads that convert.

Responsibilities

Edit 12-15+ direct-response Meta ads per week across multiple ad styles
Execute concepts quickly from briefs and scripts provided by our creative strategists
Collaborate with leadership on new creative concepts and angles
Maintain a steady pipeline of fresh creative to prevent ad fatigue and sustain performance
Source footage or generate clips with AI to get the result each ad needs
Integrate AI-generated assets and workflows seamlessly, using tools like ElevenLabs, Higgsfield, Sora, Veo, Kling and Suno
Make editorial decisions on hooks, pacing, pattern interrupts and emotional triggers with conversion as the goal
Study competitor ads, identify what's working and apply those patterns to our creative
Implement feedback quickly, often the same day, to capitalize on winning angles
Analyze winning and losing ads with the creative team to sharpen your instincts and improve hit rate

Requirements

1+ year of experience editing direct-response ads for ecommerce or DTC brands
A portfolio that shows range across different ad styles
Fast and fluent in CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro or any other editing software
Hands-on experience with AI video, voice and music tools, and the ability to pick up new ones quickly
A strong grasp of hooks, pacing, pattern interrupts, emotional triggers, retention and conversion
Fast execution and efficient workflow. You can turn a clear brief into a finished ad within hours, with most standard concepts completed within the same working day.
You make creative decisions independently, use AI tools efficiently, and turn around revisions quickly while maintaining strong editing quality.
Real interest in marketing, consumer psychology and why people buy
An output-focused mindset: you understand that 10 ads at 90% quality beat 2 ads at 100%
Strong pattern recognition: you can reverse-engineer why a winning ad performs
Working knowledge of performance metrics, including CTR, hook rate, watch time and ROAS
Self-directed and reliable on deadlines without close supervision
Coachable, and able to take direct feedback without ego
Excellent written and verbal English

Experience in personal care, health and wellness, supplements, beauty, or other consumer product categories is a plus.
