A leading multinational company with operations in BGC is building its General Ledger and Finance Operations team and is inviting applications for multiple career levels. Available opportunities:

General Ledger Accountant:

Deliver accurate and timely General Ledger activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, close support, intercompany accounting, and issue resolution. This level is suited to professionals building or strengthening their core financial accounting experience.

General Ledger Team Lead:

Coordinate day-to-day delivery for a General Ledger team, allocate work, monitor service levels and quality, coach team members, manage escalations, and partner with stakeholders to resolve operational issues.

General Ledger Manager:

Lead a General Ledger team and own end-to-end service delivery, people development, stakeholder management, controls, performance management, and improvement initiatives across the process.

Finance Operations Manager:

Provide broader leadership across General Ledger and finance operations, strengthen operating models and governance, lead transformation or transition initiatives, and drive productivity, resilience, and stakeholder outcomes.

What you will do:

Perform or oversee General Ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, intercompany accounting, reporting support, and issue resolution.
Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent service delivery in line with agreed service levels, key performance indicators, internal controls, and business requirements.
Work with finance leaders, business partners, and stakeholders across countries, functions, and time zones to understand expectations and deliver practical solutions.
Investigate issues, conduct root-cause analysis, coordinate corrective actions, and resolve escalations effectively.
Maintain strong process documentation, standard operating procedures, controls, risk management, backup coverage, and business continuity arrangements.
Contribute to or lead finance transformation, process transitions, standardization, automation, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Use data and operational insights to identify opportunities, improve productivity, reduce recurring issues, and strengthen the stakeholder experience.
For leadership roles: coach and develop employees, set goals, allocate resources, manage performance, support workforce planning, and build a capable succession pipeline.

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred for senior opportunities.
Relevant experience in finance and accounting, with demonstrated General Ledger experience. The required level of experience will depend on the opportunity being considered.
Experience in shared services, global business services, business process outsourcing, or a multinational environment is an advantage.
For Team Lead, Manager, and Operations Manager opportunities: demonstrated people leadership, coaching, resource management, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end process ownership.
Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP FICO experience is preferred.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to interpret operational reports and performance data.
Experience in transition, migration, transformation, automation, or continuous improvement projects is an advantage.
